4 Tips to Include Walking for Weight Loss in Your Every Day Life

Walking is shaping up to be one of the best exercises you can do to control your weight. It’s easy to do, low impact, reduces stress, and you can include it in your every day life. Here are 4 tips to get you started…

  1. Walk your dog. He needs to go out anyway to do his business, so why not extend that walk to 20 to 30 minutes. You will both benefit.
  2. Take your kids to the park. Here’s the kicker–instead of driving, walk. You get a double benefit of exercising while spending quality time with your kids.
  3. Walk to the store. If you live too far to walk to the store, then park at the far end of the parking lot when you get there.
  4. Take a walk during your lunch break. Work stresses you out and you need to do something besides eat during lunch. Walking will help control stress, and you’ll be less likely to eat junk food.
